This existing system were moved after approximately 14 months to the new Cell C campus in Woodmead. Within the new facility, two main supporting pillars had been placed in the center of the room where they would have interrupted the view of the video wall in its existing 2 x 11 format. Furthermore, it had become clear during the initial installation that more pixel “real estate” would be required to accommodate all the data that Cell C now needed to display on the screen. To overcome both these problems, EEU Taltronics proposed adding an additional eight cubes to the system, bringing the total to 30, and dividing the screen into two 3 x 5 displays that would provide a far more aesthetically appealing solution.

EEU Taltronics also installed another large LED DLP Rear Projection system configuration of 15 x 2 (30 x 67″ LED DLP SXGA+) Front Maintenance cubes for SITA (State Information Technology Agency) located in Centurion. Content management were made possible with a Catalyst 4000 Video Wall Controller from Jupiter Systems.

One of our biggest installations in South Africa is the Transnet Pipelines (NMPP) system. System reliability was of paramount importance. Taltronics chose a combination of 60” and 70” Mitsubishi Electric 120 Series LED DLP cubes and Jupiter controllers; a system of proven long-term reliability. Two Video Wall systems made up of 8 x 3 (24 x 70″ LED DLP FullHD) each were installed to make up a total of 48 cubes.
